Dear Martin,
Before the last State election, Labor promised to buy 100 new trams costing $500m. Earlier this week, John Brumby promised 50 new trams costing $1b. I would like to know;
1. are we getting a total of 150 new trams?
2. of the trams promised 3 years ago, how many are currently on the tracks?
2. how did trams quadruple in price in less than 3 years?
3. when will the most recently promised trams be on the tracks
4. are you embarrassed about Labor’s performance in public transport?
